Angel Otero, assistant professor, was included in the list “Featured Experts in Fighting Securities and Commodities Fraud” from the website ForensicsColleges.com. “The list is comprised of some the outstanding professors in the field and we wanted to recognize their great contributions to academia on our blog,” said Barry Franklin, the site’s chief editor and owner.
Economics professor Michael Slotkin was the keynote speaker at Update North Brevard, a Jan. 29 gathering of business and community leaders in Titusville.

Associate professor William Rankin will chair the 2nd Annual Airport Facilities Management conference March 20-21 in Bangkok, Thailand. Rankin has also been asked to lead a daylong workshop at the conference, which will focus on preparing airports for terrorist threats in the morning session and runway incursions in the afternoon.
