Christena Callahan, director of Creative Services in the Office of Marketing and Communications, has been named Florida Tech’s Most Valuable Panther for October.
In announcing the award, the Office of Human Resources said:
“Since Christena took on her leadership role in Creative Services, she has transformed collaboration with other departments across the university. She dove into research to find a tool, which will enable her team to take advantage of collaborative cloud technologies to make the creative services request and proofing process more efficient and effective. She was able to not only secure a vendor to improve the creative service request workflow, but also was able to secure significant monetary savings to the university. Christena is also helping lead the university’s logo redesign, new rebranding campaign and 60th anniversary identity, and is contributing to the website redesign.”
The MVP program recognizes faculty and staff who embody both the university’s standards for innovation and excellence, and offer quality of service to the campus at large and individual students.
