Donna Sewell, manager of visitor services at the Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts, has been named Florida Tech’s Most Valuable Panther for February.
In announcing the award, the Office of Human Resources said:
“Donna created a new student group called SMART that encourages student participation in events and exhibitions at the Funk Center. She initiated new campus partnerships with Evans Library, the International Student Services and the ELS courses. Donna’s initiative and leadership led to a 71 percent increase in student participation and engagement in Fiscal 2017, well ahead of the 46 percent increase charted in Fiscal 2016.”
