United Way of Brevard is offering free tax preparation services from Jan. 30 to April 17, 2018. Available in-person or online, the service applies to low- and moderate-income workers with household income of $54,000 (in-person) and $64,000 (online).

Last year, United Way tax program volunteers prepared over 2,700 tax returns, saving an average of $250 per person.
To be eligible for the tax service, you must provide last year’s tax return, your Social Security card, photo identification, proof of bank account numbers for direct deposit such as a blank check, name, address and SSN/EIN of child care provider/amount paid, and the following financial forms: W-2, 1099, 1098-T and 1095.
