Suzie Philbeck, administrative assistant II, School of Psychology, has been named the Most Valuable Panther for October.
Philbeck recently coordinated coverage of volunteer work that helped secure approximately $4,000 for student research travel, and nominators cited her “amazing” support to students, faculty and staff in general.
The accolades submitted in support of Philbeck’s recognition noted that she is “an extremely talented admin who anticipates and takes care of problems so they never become problems for others” who “goes above and beyond every day, always with a positive attitude and a smile.”
As noted elsewhere in this edition of NOW, the MVP program recognizes faculty and staff who embody both the university’s standards for innovation and excellence, and offer quality of service to the campus at large and individual students.
