Whether it’s for a crisis or referral call to 2-1-1, free tax preparation, a hot meal, counseling services or after school programs, 1 in 4 people in Brevard County will use a community service or partner agency of the United Way this year. Florida Tech employees play a big part in helping the United Way of Brevard provide resources to those in need.
“When we give to the United Way, we are making an investment that benefits the entire community, not just one program or issue,” said Joni Oglesby, United Way employer campaign manager for Florida Tech. “I’m thankful to those who give so generously.”
Florida Tech’s 2017 United Way campaign will run Oct. 23–27 with a pledge goal of $150,000. It will be carried out online.
“To live better, we must live United,” Oglesby said.
