Jian Ma, who graduated from Florida Tech last year with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, was, as a student, the first author on a paper with faculty member Eric Guisbert that was accepted into the prestigious journal G3. In addition to that honor, Jian also designed the illustration used on the cover of the journal.
