Rockledge High Wins 1st in Ethics Competition

Students from Rockledge High School won first place in the 20th Annual High School Business Ethics and Leadership competition March 10.

The winning students, pictured above, are, from left, Rese Clark, Liz Johnson and Mary Ellen Strain. They are standing with Deborah Blair, education program director, Community Credit Union of Florida, on the far left, and Theodore Richardson, dean of the College of Business, on the far right.

Melbourne High was second, Astronaut High was third and Space Coast Jr./Sr. High was fourth.

Each participant on all winning teams receives $12,000 annual undergraduate scholarships to Florida Tech and various cash prizes. In total, the competition awarded up to $192,000 in scholarships and cash to the top four-member teams.
