Florida Tech and Harris Corporation jointly hosted the Florida Unmanned Aerial Systems Summit at Florida Tech’s Center for Aeronautics and Innovation on March 1. The summit opened with a welcome from Florida Tech President T. Dwayne McCay.
In attendance were industry, government and academic thought-leaders who discussed the ways UAS technology will likely transform markets such as agriculture, public safety and infrastructure. The group attended workshops and discussion panels to develop ideas for integrating UAS industry throughout Florida.
