“Passage,” a 22-foot-tall sculpture of steel and glass by Frits Van Eeden, has been installed on the south side of Florida Tech’s Foosaner Art Museum.

Weighing 4,000 pounds, the artwork was installed in December.

Van Eeden is an internationally recognized artist and former artist-in-residence at the museum. He has shown his work Europe, The Caribbean, and the United States.

“The monumental sculpture is a gleaming beacon for the museum and a great addition to the Eau Gallie Arts District,” said Carla Funk, director of university museums.
