The 2015 United Way campaign at Florida Tech generated $164,609, a remarkable total made even more impressive given the 4 ½-day duration of the campaign, according to organizers.
The university also contributed $981 in in-kind donations.
Nearly 400 university employees contributed in 2015.
“The Florida Institute of Technology team truly has become a force for positive change,” noted Joni Oglesby, 2015 United Way Employer Campaign Manager for the university. “Whether you’re a donor, a volunteer or both, thank you for taking an active role in making our community a healthy, vibrant place to live and work.”
