Florida Tech Holds Fall Commencement Ceremonies

Florida Tech bestowed more than 1,500 degrees Saturday, Dec. 12, at fall commencement ceremonies for undergraduate and graduate students from the main Melbourne campus, as well as online and off-site programs.

Students from 18 states and 50 countries received diplomas during the morning and afternoon ceremonies at the Charles and Ruth Clemente Center.

Friends and family traveled from as far away at 9,200 miles to attend.

In his remarks, Florida Tech President and CEO Anthony J. Catanese celebrated the oldest and youngest graduates – ages ranged from 20 to 54 – while looking back on key accomplishments at the university and celebrating the unique stories of several participating students.

Spring 2016 commencement is scheduled for Saturday, May 7.
