Ralph Locurcio, professor and head of the construction management program at Florida Tech, was named Educator of the Year by the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).
CMAA presents its Educator of the Year Award to a teacher whose example motivates students to excellence and encourages them to pursue careers in construction management.
The association noted how Locurcio “shares his extensive real-world experience with students as well as his vast technical knowledge.”
The award was presented at CMAA’s National Conference & Trade Show in Orlando in October.
CMAA was formed in 1982 and has a current membership of more than 14,000, including individual practitioners, corporate members, and construction owners in both public and private sectors, along with academic and associate members.
