Conway Named AAAS Fellow
Ted Conway

Ted Conway, head of Biomedical Engineering at Florida Tech, has been named a 2015 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Conway, elected upon recommendation of his AAAS member peers, is being recognized for his distinguished contributions to the participation of scientists with physical challenges both nationally and within AAAS, and for exceptional leadership of the Committee on Opportunities in Science.

The tradition of AAAS Fellows began in 1874.

Conway, pictured above, and 346 other members will be presented with an official certificate and the AAAS’s signature rosette pin on Saturday, Feb. 13, during the 2016 AAAS Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. AAAS is the world’s largest general scientific society, and publisher of several journals, including Science.
