The Applied Computing Center operated by Information Technology’s Lab Support Services has relocated to the third floor of Evans Library and updated its set-up with more desktop space for students to set up their laptops, reports Lab Support Services Manager Tom Couperthwaite.
The center is a full-service computing facility providing access to an array of productivity software and services as well as specialized software used by each academic college or department. Students have access to 57 Windows-based computer systems and three Macintosh OS X computers. The center has work table space and accommodations for students working in groups or projects. Printing, black and white as well as laser color, is available.
