Florida Tech’s Civil Engineering Advisory Committee (CEAC) honored three civil engineering students for their outstanding achievements.
Seniors Antonio Berber, Alexandria Boddy and Nick Miller were recognized at the CEAC annual board meeting in March for previously receiving prestigious honors and scholarships.
Berber was awarded the A.C. Bagtzoglou Civil Engineering Fellowship Endowment to continue graduate studies in Water Resources.
Boddy has been recognized by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of 10 New Faces of Civil Engineering – College Edition.
Miller received the CARE Endowment Scholarship which was created by the CEAC.
“We are very proud of these three students and wish them continued success,” said Ashok Pandit, head of the college’s Department of Civil Engineering. “We are also very thankful to all the alumni who helped in creating these scholarships and awards to assist exceptional civil engineering students to achieve their career-related goals.”
Pandit added that there are plans to create additional endowments in the near future.
