Two doctoral students at Florida Institute of Technology recently won the Love of Learning awards and $500 each from the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

Nicholas Kasdaglis, a Melbourne native, and Chelsea Alyce LeNoble of Miami were among 147 recipients of the national award, which was created in 2007 to help fund graduate or professional studies, doctoral dissertations, continuing education, career development and travel related to teaching and studies for active PKP members.

Kasdaglis, who is studying human-centered design, used his award to present two academic papers at the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society 2014 International Conference. LeNoble, who is studying industrial/organizational psychology, used her award to travel to the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Annual Conference.
