2014 United Way Campaign Tops Last Year

The 2014 United Way campaign at Florida Tech generated $177,543, beating last year’s campaign and continuing the university’s standing as a key participant in the county-wide charity campaign.

The university’s total contributions will be a part of United Way of Brevard’s overall $6.4 million goal, which was announced in September at a kick-off rally held on our Melbourne campus.

The money Florida Tech and all of Brevard raised will go toward helping thousands of local residents, including providing books for students and tax preparation assistance for adults.

In 2013, Florida Tech raised $175,544 for the United Way campaign.
