Amid the splendor of Mike and Rashmi Shah’s home on Merritt Island, more than 350 people helped make The Scott Center for Autism Treatment’s spring fundraiser, An Evening of Hope VI: Night of Wishes, the best yet.
The annual event raised more than $300,000, a record total. That included more than $105,000 in scholarship money raised in WISH funds in just 30 minutes, as well as $30,000 raised in the raffle for a Rolex watch donated row by Kempf’s Jewelers. Money raised will also be put toward establishing a behavioral pediatrics clinic.
An Evening of Hope VI was co-chaired by Claudia O’Brien and Melissa Parker.
