Inaugural Grad Bash Draws Hundreds to Crawford Green

Florida Tech President and CEO Anthony Catanese, far right, and Pete the Panther celebrate at Grad Bash.

A first-time campus event featuring food, drinks and live music for graduating students and their family and friends drew hundreds to Crawford Green the night before spring commencement ceremonies.

Panther4Life Grad Bash, held May 2, was sponsored by the Alumni Association, Campus Activities Board and Greek Life, with additional support from the Office of the President. It was in honor of the more than 1,100 students who have petitioned to graduate on May 3 and served as a welcome into Florida Tech’s Alumni Association.

“This was a way for the Alumni Association to engage with our graduating students in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere,” said Bino Campanini, vice president of alumni affairs. “Our hope is that this celebration will be an annual success similar to our Homecoming Fest.”
