In early December, representatives from Gulfstream Aerospace Corp, based in Savannah, Ga., visited the Melbourne campus to receive briefings on Florida Tech\’s new Flight Test Evaluation Certificate and accredited Master\’s Degree program. They also met with several students in the Flight Test Evaluation program. Gulfstream representatives included Tom Huff, aviation safety officer; Curt Cromwell, engineering manager-flight test; Sharon Pflieger, director, organizational effectiveness; Cassie Batayias, strategic sourcing consultant; and Todd Hoffman, senior manager, compliance and technical training.
Briefings from Florida Tech personnel included those from Executive Vice President/COO Dwayne McCay; John Meyer, information technology, and Gretchen Sauerman, corporate sponsored programs. Briefings on the Flight Test Certificate and the M.S. in Flight Test Engineering degree program were delivered by Ralph Kimberlin, Dan Kirk and Captain Bill Connor.
