Florida Tech has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CommutAir, dba United Express, to provide a development and bridging program for qualified Florida Tech aeronautics program students. The MOU was signed at the annual Aviation Safety Symposium, which was held on campus Oct. 25.
The MOU offers Florida Tech College of Aeronautics student internships and employment opportunities for juniors, seniors and graduates who aspire to be airline pilots or dispatchers. It is expected that four Florida Tech students will be involved each year.
