Melbourne resident George Medlin, Carpenter B with locksmith duties, retired in June after 24 years at the university. Medlin reported to Rob Ghiotto. Dozens of faculty and staff attended Medlin’s retirement reception in the lobby of the Gleason Performing Arts Center. “George will surely be missed. He was a great asset to the Facilities team and the campus community. Always willing to take on new challenges with a smile, he is an inspiration to us all. We all wish him a long and happy retirement,” said Ghiotto.
