The President’s Office sponsored a professional development experience, led by Carrie Spell-Hansson of The Folke Institute for Transformative Learning, in early April. The two-day training, accompanied by an internal “vendor fair,” covered a range of communication issues.
Among the topics offered by the program were tips on handling office politics and delicate workplace situations, effective communication, establishing one’s reputation and the effects of culture on perception and communication.
“It was inspirational, interesting and informative,” said Ann Munroe, Marketing and Communications. “I would absolutely love to have this kind of positive experience again.”
