Florida Tech has been recognized as a top tier National University by U.S. News & World Report for the third straight year. In the just-released 2013 edition, the university was again named a Tier One Best National University and was again listed as the second-highest ranked private National University in Florida, behind only the University of Miami. Lesser rankings in the report include Tier 2 and Unranked Schools.
President Anthony J. Catanese said the university’s “high tech with a human touch” approach continues to resonate with students. \”Outstanding faculty, small class sizes and unparalleled student research opportunities make Florida Tech special,” said Catanese. “We’re excited that the world is learning more and more about Florida Tech.”
Also in the U.S. News rankings, Florida Tech was recognized as a top university for fostering international student experiences. And, the university was named among the nation’s “A-Plus Schools for B Students.”
