Thomas Peake, emeritus faculty in the School of Psychology, who retired in 2007, passed away Sept. 11.

Dean of the College of Psychology and Liberal Arts Mary Beth Kenkel remembers him: “Tom was a vital part of the School of Psychology for many years and was known throughout the university for his scholarly work, collegial manner, genuine caring and gentle wit. He was a wonderful mentor to students and continued that mentorship and guidance to the graduates throughout their professional careers. As a practicing psychologist and neuropsychologist, Tom had such a positive impact on many people here in Brevard, and was much appreciated for his work at the East Central Florida Memory Disorder Clinic. We all feel so fortunate to have known and worked with Tom, and will greatly miss him.”
