Botanical Fest Flowers on Campus

The wares of forty vendors from throughout Florida overflowed the green space behind the Crawford Building at the annual Botanical Fest Plant and Garden Sale in March. Business was brisk among the plant-loving crowd estimated at about 4,000 by Stephanie Bacon of the Development Office, who coordinated the event. “Funds raised from charging vendors for their space and from donations will go to good use in developing a long-range master plan for the Botanical Garden,” said Bacon.

Free guided tours of the Botanical Garden were offered hourly to present the diverse collection of palms and tropical plants on display in their springtime colors.
