The Rotary Club of Indialantic and Florida Tech are hosting the Tenth Annual Moon River Music & Magic, a fundraiser on March 31, from 6 to 9 p.m., on campus. The scholarship program for students entering college focuses on retaining Brevard’s best and brightest to pursue higher education at Florida Tech. A donation of $25 is requested at the event.
Highlights will include unlimited gourmet food and beverages, a classic antique car show, raffle, amusement stations, campus tours and the Magic River in the university’s Botanical Garden. Entertainment will be provided by live bands, including The Atlantic Blue Grass Band and TWITCHY, Florida Tech’s own faculty rock ‘n roll band.
President Anthony J. Catanese, an active member of the Rotary Club of Indialantic, who matched dollar-for-dollar the funds raised last year, will make the same match this year.
Organizations and individuals are invited to make donations to help finance the scholarship program. These may be made to the Indialantic Rotary Foundation, a 501(c)(3) registered tax-exempt corporation. Donations can be mailed to: Rotary Club of Indialantic, P.O. Box 033134, Indialantic, Fla., 32903. For more information or tickets, call Ruth Sanderson at (321) 427-1765.
