International Festival United Many Cultures

International food vendors, community singers, dancers and musicians once again joined Florida Tech international student organizations to present a colorful lineup of ethnic entertainment at the Sixth Annual International Festival, held Feb. 25 the Panthereum.

Entertainers included musicians and dancers from the West African Fore Sacre; Brevard Indonesian Angklung & Dance Group; Philippines Cultural Dance Association; L’Ahavat Tzion Israeli Folk Dance; and the Brazilian martial arts-dance combination of Capoeira Karkara. Florida Tech’s all-faculty rock ‘n roll band TWITCHY also performed. In addition, the Florida Tech Panther Pan Symphony debuted alongside the Florida Tech Jazz Syndicate and veteran student groups Echo Boomerz and Street Dance Club.
