Posey Recognizes Florida Tech’s 60th in Congressional Record

U.S. Rep. Bill Posey has recognized Florida Tech’s 60th anniversary.

In a 350-word entry in the Oct. 5 Congressional Record, Posey offers a snapshot of Florida Tech’s founding by Jerome Keuper in 1958, its outstanding growth since then how the school has been guided by the “remarkable leadership” of President Dwayne McCay and First Lady Mary Helen McCay, and to the “significant education and cultural contributions” it has made to the region, the state, the nation and the world.

“I urge my colleagues to join me in congratulating Florida Tech, as well as its faculty, staff, students, and graduates. Please rise in honor of the university’s 60 years of educating excellence.”
