Jessica Ha, associate director of transfer and transition programs in First Year Experience, has been named Florida Tech’s Most Valuable Panther for April.
In announcing the award, the Office of Human Resources said:
“Jessica supports students from the first day they arrive on campus — especially those students who are transferring into Florida Tech; she is their primary contact and go-to person. Jessica came up with the idea to provide “themed sections” for University Experience. This has been successful and very well received by students. Jessica serves on the Academic Affairs Committee; and she was an original contributor to the Students Success Committee last year and is now chairing one of its subcommittees, Academic Advising Task Force. Jessica’s leadership benefits all of our students.”
The MVP program recognizes faculty and staff who embody both the university’s standards for innovation and excellence, and offer quality of service to the campus at large and individual students.
