Erica Spencer, director, has earned the degree of Master of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management from the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida. Spencer finished the degree program with a 4.0 GPA and also earned a Graduate Certificate in Destination Marketing & Management.

Funk Center for Textile Arts

Keidra Navaroli, assistant director and curator, has been chosen to participate in the prestigious Getty Leadership Institute at Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, California. The highly competitive program is called NextGen 2018 Executive Education Program for the Next Generation of Museum Leaders. Navaroli was awarded a scholarship to attend the two-week program, which is a combination of online coursework and on-site learning. The focus of the program is audience engagement and development, diversity and inclusion, team management, strategy and leadership.

Angel Otero, academic chair, Accounting and Finance, Online Programs, and assistant professor of accounting, was scheduled to present,An Information Security Control Assessment Methodology for Organizations’ Financial Information” at the Institute of Internal Auditors Florida East Coast Chapter on March 15 at Harris Corporation in Melbourne.
