Florida Tech’s Panther community pledged more than $133,800 for the 2017 United Way, propelling the effort past the $125,000 goal, according to Joni Oglesby, the United Way employer campaign manager at Florida Tech.
“The Florida Institute of Technology team truly has become a force for positive change,” Oglesby said, noting that 291 employees donated.
“Whether you’re a donor, a volunteer or both, thank you for taking an active role in making our community a healthy, vibrant place to live and work,” she said. “Thank you for supporting our United Way and being what this community needs.”
