President Dwayne McCay was recently honored with the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering Outstanding Aerospace Engineering Alumnus Award from Auburn University. McCay is one of the few three-time graduates of Auburn. In 1968, he earned his bachelor’s degree in physics; in 1969 he graduated with his master’s degree in aerospace engineering; and in 1974 he was the first doctoral graduate from aerospace engineering at Auburn.
Each year, several outstanding alumni are recognized for their significant contributions to departments within the Auburn College of Engineering. These alumni have made a difference through their time, service and gifts.
