Florida Tech ROTC Commissions Cadets

Four U.S. Army cadets received commissions as second lieutenants at a Dec. 12 ceremony at Florida Institute of Technology. The students received their bachelor’s degrees in commencement ceremonies the next day.

Two of the cadets are from Brevard County. They are: Kyle Bocci of Merritt Island, business administration major with a minor in forensic psychology; and Carlos Sambois of Viera, an interdisciplinary science major. Both are entering the U.S. Army Reserves.

Also receiving commissions were Katherine Branham of Panama City Beach, Fla., a mechanical engineering major; and Casandra Tyson of Lebanon, Pa., who majored in space sciences – astrophysics and astronomy. Both are entering the U.S. Army Reserves.
